In this particular course, Curran shares some MMA-relevant and No-Gi strategies from the Deep Half Guard which grant the user to obtain combat dominant positions. Despite the Deep Half Guard's sport origins, it has been proven through documented MMA footage that the DHG is a viable and crucial point of combat in any ground fighting scenario. By the end of this course, students will have a well-rounded background on how to enter, utilize, and troubleshoot the Deep Half Guard during their sparring rounds. Jeff Curran is an American Mixed Martial Arts veteran of multiple world championship promotions including the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce, PRIDE, WEC, IFL, RFA, and KOTC. His career in MMA began with his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, of which he is a 5th Degree Black Belt under Pedro Sauer.
